Normally, we help the customer set up their home internet service, which means we deal with the Thai language provider and help you get all your paperwork sorted out in order to get service. It's usually just a few days between the time of order and the time you're up and running at home.

Home internet service is provided over the phone lines as DSL, aka ADSL.

There are two phone companies, True and TOT, but several internet companies which can provide internet service over, for example, a 3BB internet service over a TOT phone line.

The most popular home internet service is provided by True, simply because they have the best business operation, with True shops all over.

True also is the dominant satellite "cable" TV provider, with True Visions (the sole descendant of "UBC", the previous quasi-monopoly).

True also has the largest public WiFi and 3G mobile network as of 2012, though DTAC and AIS are on its heels for 3G.

When you order home internet service, the provider usually provides the DSL modem. It may be WiFi or it may be cheap. Instructions are provided.

You can also bring your favorite DSL modem from overseas and it will usually work, sometimes just by copying a few settings. We can help you set up your home network. We have an I.T. expert for that.
